Snow Repo Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-15
This policy explains what information Snow Repo collects, how it's used, who can see it, and the choices you have. Snow Repo connects people who need snow cleared (Clients) with people who clear it (Snow Pros).
What we collect
Account: your email, password (stored encrypted by our login provider), name, and whether you use the app as a Client or Snow Pro.
Jobs: the photos you add (“before” photos from Clients and “after” photos from Snow Pros), job details, prices, offers, notes, timing and the job's map location and address.
Location: if you allow it, your phone's location to place a job pin or set a Snow Pro's home base and travel radius. We don't track your location in the background.
Payments: Cash App $cashtags and Venmo usernames you choose to add. We never collect bank or card numbers — payments happen in Cash App or Venmo.
Activity: messages you send in job chats, ratings and reviews, tips, cancellations, no-show reports, reports and blocks, equipment lists, and when you agreed to the User Agreement.
Device: a push-notification token so we can send you alerts, plus basic technical logs our service providers keep to run the app securely.
How we use it
To run Snow Repo: show jobs to nearby Snow Pros, let people make and answer offers, book jobs, send notifications, show ratings, keep track of fees, handle reports, keep the app safe, and provide support. We do not sell your information, and we don't show ads.
Who can see what
Other users see your name, rating, review count, cancellation and no-show counts, and (for Snow Pros) your equipment.
Snow Pros near a job see its photos, details, price, timing and map location.
Once a job is booked, the Client and Snow Pro can see each other's job chat and payment handles (Cash App / Venmo).
The Snow Repo owner can see fee records, reports and account status to run the business and keep people safe.
We may share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of selling or reorganizing the business.
Service providers
Snow Repo uses trusted companies to run the app: Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Expo (app updates and push notifications), Apple and Google (maps, app stores, and notification delivery). Cash App and Venmo handle payments under their own privacy policies when you open them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, jobs, offers, chats and ratings are deleted. Fee records are kept without your name for bookkeeping and taxes, and backups are removed on our providers' normal schedules.
Your choices
You can edit your profile any time, turn location or notifications off in your phone's settings, block or report users, and delete your account from Profile → Delete my account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information — contact us and we'll help.
Safety and security
We use encrypted connections and security rules so people can only see what they're supposed to. No system is perfect, so please don't put private information you don't want shared in photos, notes or chats.
Children
Snow Repo is only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date below and let you know in the app for important changes.
